Michigan’s August Primary 2025: Key local elections in West Michigan

MICHIGAN, USA — Michigan will be holding its 2025 August primary election on Aug. 5, 2025, but not all precincts will have races or proposals to be voted on.

In primary elections on odd-numbered years, like 2025, the elections mainly focus on local proposals and positions, like school millage proposals and city mayoral races. However, they can also include other types of proposals and races as well.
